HOT days!!

Wow!! FINALLY we get some hot weather but it is actually too hot!! Oh well.... I am sitting in the cool, air conditioned house and wondering why my crazy brothers are outside. They arent even swimming!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do you feel about hot weather?? I personally love the hot weather even though on hot days I am either outside swimming or inside cooling off. I never actually "soak up the sun" Unless I am bored and want to die of a heat stroke!! LOL!! I love Wenatchee because this is like the only place in Washington where it is actually hot (Well one of the few places). Where I used to live we were lucky if it got up to 70 degrees!!!

I am a 7th grader!!

SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER!!!! I am a 7th grader now!!! I dont have any big plans for this summer but i know we are going to do a lot of camping!!!!!!

Schools almost over!!

I cant believe that my 6th grade year is almost over!! Its crazy!!! There is only 3 1/2 more days of school!!!! So excited for summer but sad to leave a great year behind!!!

3 day weekend!!

Its a 3 day weekend!!!! WOOHOO!! In only about 3 more weeks school will be out and I will be a 7th grader!!! This weekend we are going to be hanging out with our cousins who will be moving to Georgia soon!! :( So now we have cousins in New York, California, Wenatchee and Georgia!!! The cousins that are here right now are 5 and 1 years old. Plus we might set up our pool this weekend!! I am sooooooooooooooo excited!!

Puppy!

Guess what? We got a puppy!! He is a golden doodle( mix between a golden retriever and a standard poodle). His name is Owen. He was born on February 5th 2010.He has the cutest eyes and when he looks up at you your heart melts. He is a very mellow puppy. He barks all night long and keeps us all up all night. Do you want to hear the story of how we got him? Well I will tell you anyway.

The story of how we ended up with the perfect dog.

On monday night me, Eli, Ethan and my mom were all sitting at the kitchen counter eating pizza. It was around 7:30 and my dad was going to come home any minute. All of a sudden we hear the garage creak open and close. He was home! We all turned around and saw him holding this bundle of fur. I thought to myself, that is the wierdest pillow I have ever seen. Then a head popped up! I couldnt believe it! It was a puppy! We all rushed over and said," Where did this dog come from?" There was a few seconds of silence then Eli said,"Can we keep him?" My dad just stood there smiling. "Guys meet your new puppy!" Thats when chaos started. We were all asking questions and trying to pet our new puppy. finally the dog got handed over to me and we all sat down. "This puppy is a golden doodle. It is 2 1/2 months old,"said my dad. I think we were all wondering the same thing. What are we going to name it? After a lot of deciding and brainstorming we decided on the name Owen. We all were so excited! We have a dog!!!! And that is the story of how we got our first puppy Owen.

Hey! I realized the other day that I have not posted anything in like a month. So here is an update! I am about to start soccer and I am sick! =( Lovely combination. I had to miss a party last night because I was sick and I had to miss school yesterday! Icky! Icky! We had a yard sale today and sold lots of stuff. For the talent show at my school me and my friends are going to do an awesome gymnastics routine! It should be awesome! So that is what is going on in my life right now!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

I just went to see this movie called Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I had told you before that the book was awesome but the movie was even better! I can't wait for the next one! It did not follow the book that well but it is still one of my fave movies! I went with my freind Claire and we almost screamed during a lot of the parts so it is a really scary movie even for 6th graders (parents, if you think about taking your kids to the movie keep in mind what I just said). My favorite part, well I probably shouldn't tell you since it would ruin the whole thing.
